Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Philadelphia, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30 amβ6 pm. It is closed on Monday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Korean food Sopoong at (267) 399-0001; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 12 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded korean restaurants in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Best korean food in the area! The sellers are the kindest people, the food is fantastic, I donβt know who would do mandu (dumpling), fried chicken, bulgogi, and kimchi fried rice and kimbal as tasty as here! I would go here everytime I want something fulfilling and delicious, especially after a long day at school. Top notch ingredients and always so fresh.

The spicy pork was nice. The beef bulgogi was even nicer.

So delicious! The portion sizes are big as well. The food is very fresh and hot, and I loved the kimbap and ramen soup. As a Penn student, I think I'm going to come here whenever I need a good and filling meal.

$15 for chicken tenders is crazy and I was asked if I wanted to add white rice for $2 more absolutely not. I Was not even aware they would serve me chicken tenders and not chicken wings as the picture on the truck illustrated. Very disappointed

The Kimbap is a great lunch option! Big portions and so much veggie stuff in it! The owner is also the sweetest lady.
